چکیده
Precision agriculture (PA) aims to provide data on soil, nutrient use, irrigation, and crops, guide management strategic decisions towards an efficient use of inputs, increasing production avoiding environmental problems due excessive accumulation fertilizers. In this paper, PA from a large Portuguese farm producing maize were used assess the effectiveness agronomic concerning fertilizer seed choice, water content, in terms crop productivity. The yield 2017 2018 was modelled as function manageable inputs unmanageable factors introduced control variables. Panel spatial econometric methods for specification estimation, dependence heterogeneity. model proved fit remarkably well could be good reference specifying models explain production; thus, helping researchers who need deal with huge amount that normally originates PA. Additionally, it can considered another tool managers, design evaluation their decisions.

Spatial Variable Importance Assessment for Yield Prediction in Precision Agriculture
Precision Agriculture applies state-of-the-art GPS technology in connection with site-specific, sensor-based crop management. It can also be described as a data-driven approach to agriculture, which is strongly connected with a number of data mining problems. One of those is also an inherently important task in agriculture: yield prediction. Given a yield prediction model, which of the predicto...
متن کاملEvaluating a Precision Agriculture Herbicide Decision Model for Winter Wheat
A user-friendly computerized decision model has been developed for selecting profitable site-specific herbicide applications in winter wheat. The model is based on six years of field research in southeastern Washington State, USA. The model calibrates herbicide applications to management unit weed densities, soil organic matter, soil moisture, and preceding management, as well as to expected in...
متن کاملUsing Cross‐validation to Evaluate Ceres‐maize Yield Simulations within a Decision Support System for Precision Agriculture
Crop growth models have recently been implemented to study precision agriculture questions within the framework of a decision support system (DSS) that automates simulations across management zones. Model calibration in each zone has occurred by automatically optimizing select model parameters to minimize error between measured and simulated yield over multiple growing seasons. However, to date...
متن کاملPrediction of Potato Crop Yield Using Precision Agriculture Techniques
Crop growth and yield monitoring over agricultural fields is an essential procedure for food security and agricultural economic return prediction. The advances in remote sensing have enhanced the process of monitoring the development of agricultural crops and estimating their yields. Therefore, remote sensing and GIS techniques were employed, in this study, to predict potato tuber crop yield on...
متن کاملestimating within field variability of wheat yield using spatial variables: an approach to precision agriculture
within-field variation of wheat yield and spatial pattern of weed density and soil nitrogen were evaluated by geostatistical methods. samples were taken from a 90×120 m area located in a 3.8 ha wheat field. soil nitrogen content and weed density at tillering and wheat yield at maturity were measured in 1 m2 plots located at the center of 10×10 m grids. grain yield was varied between 1.5-4.9 t h...
